Our Spring Season is all about Creativity!
9 weekly lessons will follow a steady progression and are organized into 3 units: Building Blocks, Creative Thinking, and Creative Expression. Whether you join us every week or for a drop-in, your family will love the purposeful and playful learning experience. Families receive resources after each class to help you play outside all week long!
I’m Jen, your Tinkergarten teacher, and this is my family! James and I met and married on the Upper West Side nearly 20 years ago, have lived across several neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Manhattan, and now we’re so thrilled to be raising our daughter in the city that has our hearts. You’ll find us exploring all over NYC, indoors and out, but we especially love discovering all of the green spaces that our wonderful home has to offer. Beatrix and dad are regulars in many of my classes and love meeting new friends! When I’m not having fun in Tinkergarten classes, you can find me on the hunt for great food, great coffee, or a great book.
I started teaching Tinkergarten classes because I knew that this was something that would be invaluable for my own daughter (and myself!). I planned to teach one or two classes but quickly realized the magnitude of need for the type of curriculum and engagement that Tinkergarten offers. I’m currently a one-mama operation (with incredible support from my husband and our sweet girl, of course) who has found myself building a business around this learning environment that I’m incredibly passionate about. I care deeply for every family who comes to my classes and I would love to meet yours and play with you soon!
